Conferences
Parents/Guardians: As a precautionary measure, all campuses in the Cedarville School District went on lockdown for approximately 10 minutes today due to hearing gun shots in the area. We quickly learned that the gun shots were not on or near our campuses, and there was no danger to our students or staff. Normal activities resumed immediately. Thank you for your support as we continue to make safety a top priority.

This week's MVP is... Mrs. Debbie Lamproe! From lessons that include real life situations such as ordering from menus to writing Thank You cards, Mrs. Lamproe works hard to make sure her students are not only successful in their academics, but have fun while doing it. She is always learning new things to use that help her students navigate through the day safely and efficiently. She is passionate about her job and advocates for students. The best part of her day is when she "opens the doors in the mornings and greets the students and they are so happy to be here and want to know what we are doing." Mrs. Lamproe is a real MVP!

Mrs. Butler passed on the MVP of the Week award! She chose...Mrs. Bremner! Passing the CMS MVP to Mrs. Bremner! Mrs. Bremner always has a positive attitude and is a team player! She sponsors the sign language club and co-sponsors and coaches students in esports as well. She is always ready to help out with anything asked and is a huge asset to the PTO where she sacrifices extra time to do. Mrs. Bremner is well deserving to be this week's MVP!

Parents/Guardians, please read the following information: CMS and CHS car riders must be dropped off/picked up at the CHS island before/after school. Cars dropping off/picking up students should not enter the bus lane or any location besides the island before school begins/after school is out. This procedure is in place for student and staff safety. Also, any student medication that will be taken at school, must be brought to our school nurse by a parent/guardian before students can take these medications on campus. Please contact Nurse Tara for more information/details.

This year, CMS staff decided to not give a "Staff of the Month" award, instead we are giving the "MVP OF THE WEEK" award to someone who is deserving of recognition for the amazing things he/she does at our school! Each MVP is responsible for choosing the next MVP. Last week's MVP for CMS was.... Mrs. Maxwell! Mrs. Maxwell is our library media specialist, and has been working diligently in the library this year (and this past summer) to bring fun, educational activities and lessons to our students. She has purchased 3D printers and is teaching herself to use them to help students do the same. She is always behind the scenes working on projects such as preparing for Battle of the Books/promoting reading, finding new book series that students are interested in reading, hosting library days/reward week, and bringing STEM activities to students. Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Maxwell!
